A child's size 13.0 is larger than a child's size 12.0. A child's size 12.0 would get a 1/2 size larger to make a 12.5. From there you would go up another 1/2 size larger and get a child's size 13.0. - DDS Customer Service (09/03/2013)

What is the length from toe to heel in the children's size 12?

the measurement from heel to toe on the size 10 1/2 shoe is just under 7 inches and the 11 1/2 shoe is 7 1/2 inches. Hope this helps a future shopper. I must say that when I needed to reorder a smaller pair Customer Service was VERY helpful. - Grandmasue (11/01/2013)
