Capezio's "RockIt" Dansneaker is lightweight and the breathable SBR nylex mesh complements the combination nubuck and imitation suede upper. We bought these shoes for our daughter who takes Irish dance classes to use when she is practicing her hard shoe dances in the house. They run a full size small; she wears a 1.5 in street shoes and wears a 2.5 child's in these. She feels that they are comfortable and flexible--breathe well. Our one complaint is that, despite the claim of the non-marking sole, they leave numerous black marks on our hardwood floors that are very difficult to remove. These are not just smudges that you can rub off with your finger but ones that you need to scrub to clean and somehow seem to become imbedded in the wood grain. We have recently had our floors refinished, and my husband was very unhappy with the frequency and stubbornness of the marks these shoes left behind, so we purchased a different dance sneaker (Bloch Wave) for our daughter to use in the house. If you are not using these in a place where you care about the floor, then they are a good, solid dance sneaker.
